Book Week 2012: 27 February to 2 March

We have a variety of activities going on during Book Week to promote interest in reading and books...

Author visit with Alex Scarrow, Tuesday, 13 March 2012

On Tuesday, 13 March in conjunction with ‘Authors Abroad’ we will welcome Alex Scarrow whose series ‘Timeriders’ exploded on the book scene in 2010. This fast paced, futuristic series is matched by Alex’s high energy, interactive hour long author sessions . All boys from Years 7, 8 and 9 will be attending. Books will be available for purchase but only on pre-order. All orders need to be in by 2 March. Please see 10 February Bulletin for the letter about the event and order form. Internet payment for the books has been set up.

Developments in the School Library Service

By logging on to your library account (instructions can be found in Google Apps under RGS Students Sites/Home Page) you can search for books and email requests to the school library. We will email you when books/resources are ready and available.

We are introducing emails for overdue books.

In the Library web pages you will find a list of e-resources that can support Home Learning for APEX, Humanities, Social Sciences.
