Bristol Post Article about Student Behaviour in Bristol

A great news article in the Bristol Post (dated 26 May 2015) regarding 'praise for student behaviour at Bristol secondaries after complimentary Ofsted remarks'. A great news story on Bristol's schools!

Sarah Baker is quoted in the article in her role as Chair of Bristol's Secondary Head Teachers' Association. She states "There are some very strong head teachers and senior leadership teams in Bristol schools, and we've seen consistent improvement in behaviour and achievement in recent years.

Ofsted is extremely thorough in its evaluation, so it's fantastic to see so many schools performing well. Much of this success is thanks to the strong relationships that teachers have established with pupils, encouraging mutual respect and creating an excellent environment for learning.

There's much to celebrate in Bristol's schools at the moment. Last year we saw GCSE performance improve for a sixth year in a row, so the future's looking bright for students in the city."
