Congratulations to our Year 9 'Youth Speakers'

Last week three of our Year 9 students participated in the Rotary Club ‘Youth Speaks’ Competition at QEH School.

‘Youth Speaks’ is a pubic speaking competition for young people, organised by the Rotary Club. The objective is to give young people experience in speaking on a public platform, to encourage them to formulate their ideas on specific topics and to present them concisely in a limited time, together with the opportunity to learn from the performance of others’ high standards of expression, presentation and appearance.

Well done Erin, Katie and Emily for your hard work and excellent speech. Unfortunately, the team did not win but their talk on the Dangers of Technology was highly entertaining and thought-provoking; better luck next time!
