Humanities Summer Investigation: Your Chance to Support the Learning of Students at Ramjas School in India!

Humanities Summer Holiday Home Learning

Fancy helping students to learn in India?  We have been contacted by:

in Delhi, India with the following request:

Our students, of Ramjas School Pusa Road, who are in the age group of 14 - 16 years, have undertaken to study historical monuments in India, their condition, how are they being maintained and making a comparative study with historical monuments in Europe.

We wish to see how well these are being cared for, and understand the culture of that place and period in history to which the monument belongs. The study will enable students to understand the importance of the legacy of all such heritage monuments.

Secondly, the students are also undertaking an exercise/activity on understanding women empowerment in Asia & Europe.

It would be great if you could get some students to write, sketch and share views on the above mentioned activities.

If any students would like to help out they should bring their finished research (which can be in any format) to the Humanities office during the 1st week back in September.  A small prize will be available for those able to participate.  All work must include the name of the student and their mentor group.  If students would like to email their work, this should be sent via the teaching and learning account with Ramjas School – Humanities as the subject heading.
