The government has stopped testing at Key Stage 3, so our students in Year 9 sat the tests and these were marked in line with national guidelines. We also looked at the work students had completed over the year. You will see that these results were outstanding; however, many of our students came to the school with excellent Key Stage 2 results and therefore we would have expected them to do well.
In order to show how well our students did perform, we can compare their results with students of a similar ability nationally. These results show that the achievement of our students is in line with or better than the top 25% of schools nationally.
