Redland Green School students delighted with their first ever set of GCSE results!

83% of students achieved 5 or more A*-C grades, including Mathematics and English.

92% of all students got 5 A*-C grades.

Half of all students achieved 5 or more A*-A grades.

We are really thrilled with the first ever GCSE results of Redland Green School! Our students’ outstanding achievements are the result of their hard work and the support and dedication of all teachers and other school staff in providing outstanding teaching and learning opportunities at the school.

We are proud to be a specialist science school and as such we are delighted with our excellent Science and Mathematics results.

The excellent results continue across the curriculum, with notable successes including:

Sarah Baker, Headteacher stated,  “These phenomenal results are the outcome of five years of hard work and dedication. It’s been a long and exciting journey and we are now firmly established as an excellent provider of state education in Bristol. The excellent results in GCSE and BTEC show that our curriculum meets the needs of all students at Redland Green and provides the qualifications to take students to the next stage of their learning, which includes apprentices, vocational courses and for the vast majority the North Bristol Post 16 Centre. While we enjoy the success of today and the past five years, we will not be complacent with these results and we look forward to the challenges of improving further next year.”

Annemieke Waite, Chair of Governors for Redland Green School added, “In my role as Chair of Governors it has been my privilege to have seen and be a part of the school foundation, growth and development of Redland Green. Knowing the conscientiousness of our students, coupled with the professionalism and skills of the staff and Senior Leadership Team, I’m not surprised, although of course delighted, at the outstanding achievement of our students.”

We are obviously very proud of all our students’ achievements and want to congratulate them all!
