Redland Green Celebrates Outstanding A-level results

Redland Green is delighted at our strongest set of A level results to date.

Just over a third of all entries were graded at A or A*, which is a phenomenal achievement for students and a tribute to the hard work of their teachers. We also celebrate the achievement of eight of our students who managed to gain A* grades in all three or four of the subjects they studied with us. We are very proud that nine of our students have gained places at Oxbridge and three students to study medicine. The vast majority of our students have gained grades that will enable them to fulfill their future plans with many gaining their first choice place at Russell Group universities to study competitive courses. This year 52% of our students are going on to study at Russell Group universities.

Redland Green learning community, one of the two bases for the North Bristol Post 16 Centre, is a comprehensive post 16 centre with students joining us in Year 12 from as many as 24 different schools with a wide range of experiences and qualifications. This year group included the our very first Year 7 students, and it is wonderful to see all students achieving the outstanding results they needed to progress to the next stage of their educational careers or training and employment.
