Results of the RGS Mock Election

Whilst the Conservatives won yesterday's General Election, in the RGS Mock Election it was Labour that was victorious, with 47% of students' votes.

The Green party finished in second place with 24% of votes and UKIP in third place with 13%.
The Conservatives won 12% of votes and the Lib Dems 4%. Around 1000 students voted, which is approximately two-thirds of our students.
The Student Council did a sterling job manning the polling station throughout the day and the Mock Election ran very smoothly! Well done everyone for taking part and voting. The results are very interesting!
