Rotary Young Chef Competition: Internal Heats

We recently held the Internal Heats of the 2013/14 Rotary Young Chef Competition at Redland Green School. This was to find the three best chefs in the school that will go forward to represent the school in the Regional Heats.

Congratulations to the following students for their fantastic menus that secured them Third, Second and First place in the Internal Heat! All the food they cooked was delicious and the judges enjoyed tasting their dishes very much!








Well done to Tom who came Third with his menu of tray baked salmon with olives, green beans and anchovies and a dessert of strawberry shortcake.



In Second place came Latia with a tasty aromatic chicken curry with a rich chocolate pudding.

Congratulations to our First place winner, Isabelle with her sophisticated menu of poached salmon with pink grapefruit, basil, new potatoes and green beans. She followed this with a blueberry and vanilla pavlova.

Well done to all students that entered the competition. The next round of the compeition is on Wednesday, 20 November.
