Rotary Young Chef Competition Update

Congratulations to all three Redland Green School students that took part in the next stage of the Rotary Young Chef Competition.

Mee Mee, Alexandra and Katie came first, second and third respectively in the first heat of the competition, where they were competing against other students from Redland Green School.

The next stage of the competition was to compete against other schools in Bristol and all three students performed excellently, with first, second and third prizes being won by Redland Green School!

Mee Mee was awarded third place with her meal, which consisted of a main dish and a dessert and won £20 prize money.

Alexandra came second and won £30 prize money.

Katie was awarded first place for her meal, which consisted of a sophisticated cheese and ham soufflé main dish and a lovely poached mango and lychee dessert. As well as winning £50 prize money, Katie will also go through to the next regional heat of the competition which takes place in spring 2010.
