Second Stage of Rotary Young Chef Competition...

...Hosted by Redland Green School on Wednesday, 23 November 2011

It has become an annual event at Redland Green School to host the Rotary Young Chef Competition, where students from QEH, Redmaids, Redland Green and St. Bede’s School compete head-to-head in open kitchens where their individual meal designs and cooking skills are put to the test to create a winning meal.

Emily (Year 9) won the internal heat at Redland Green School, with Ruby (Year 9) coming in as runner-up, so both were representing the school in this second stage of the competition.

As always, the professional judges complimented the competitors for their incredibly high standards of both presentation and flavour.

This year, there was particular attention to the level of technical ability and creativity displayed by the competitors.

Both girls were a credit to the school. Well done Emily and Ruby we are all very proud of you!
