Sport Relief: Apex Activity

By Jacob, Leo and Harry, Year 7 (Apex 7.1)

For Sport Relief, we decided to do a fun but demanding challenge -  to rollerblade around our tennis courts in our APEX lesson.

As a group we raised £60 and as a class we raised £343.06. Our class raised the most money in the whole year and we are very proud of our achievement.

The money we raised went to the Sport Relief Charity to help buy mosquito nets to prevent the spread of Malaria and other diseases. Some of the money also stayed in this country to help young carers and homeless people.

We are the first year group to try this type of event and we think next year's Year 7 should do something similar, as well as Year 8 (because we would like to do it again)!
