Success for The Choir at the National Finals of Music for Youth!

On Wednesday, 3 July, The Choir from Redland Green School, made up of Year 11 girls, took part in the national finals of Music for Youth. This prestigious event saw 8,000 young people from all over the country perform throughout the week of the finals.
This is the first time that Redland Green School has represented music on a national scale and The Choir performed at the Adrian Boult Hall in Birmingham Conservatoire against much more established choirs and youth choirs. However, despite the high standard of competition, the girls won their group, winning the Innovation Award; one of two awards that are given to performances that are creative, imaginative and inspiring.
The Choir are now up there with some of the best choirs in the country with such an award!

Well done to the girls in The Choir!
