Second Place in Senior Team Maths Competition

A team of mathematics students from Redland Green School and the North Bristol Post 16 Centre has taken second place in the Senior Teams Challenge regional final, run by the UK Mathematics Trust.

The team, consisting of Matt Penn (Year 11), Max Williamson and Harry Watson (Year 12), and Fraser Waters (Year 13), faced stiff competition from 17 other schools. They worked fantastically together over three rounds, completing the Group Question round, and Cross Number and Shuttle rounds as pairs against the clock. The eventual winners of the competition were Clifton College, with Wellington College in third place.

Well-done to the team for all their hard work in lessons to prepare, which helped them succeed at such a high level.
