Understanding Adolescence, Anxiety and Resilience - Good Practice for Parents

A Presentation by the Educational Psychology Service and the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)

To provide an opportunity to reflect on the process of adolescence and how this feels for parents and the adolescents themselves. We will also consider some ideas as to what you can do to support your teenager through this exciting but sometimes confusing and uncomfortable stage of development. We will be looking at issues such as:

Format of event:
6.00 - 7.00 Lecture and Q&A
7.00 - 7.10 break with tea/coffee
7.10 - 7.40 Discussion in groups
7.40 - 8.00 Plenary and feedback

This is an adult-only event and so will not be suitable to bring children. 

The event is limited to 150 people and so please can you book your place telling us the number of people attending, with RGS Enrichment on

If, nearer the time, you are unable to attend please can you let us know so we can offer your place to other parents.
We would like to be able to run this important event on a regular basis and so voluntary suggested donations of £3 would be gratefully received on the night.
