Watching the Solar Eclipse on Friday, 20 March


Exciting news!

There will be an eclipse of the sun next week (Friday, 20th March).  Up to 90% of the sun may be eclipsed. The whole school will be leaving for the second half of period 1 to go and watch it. 

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

  1. YOU MUST NOT LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE SUN.
  2. To observe the eclipse you can either:
    1. Purchase CE marked Solar Eclipse Glasses. But you must NOT WEAR SUNGLASSES!
    2. Make a pin hole camera (click here for instructions).
