Year 10 Students Visiting our Partner School in India

On Saturday (30 January) nine very excited Year 10 Redland Green students, along with Ms Tobin and Mr Peters, left the shores of Great Britain bound for India. They are on a very exciting journey to visit our partner school, Hope Foundation School, in Bhuj, India.

The Year 10 students going to Hope Foundation School

During this trip the students will have some wonderful opportunities available to them. They will spend lots of time with the students and teachers of Hope Foundation School taking part in different projects, such as a science project where they will look at the differences between soil around Redland Green School and the soil around Hope Foundation School. They will also be getting involved in the 'Rock, Paper, Scissors Competition', which is something that RGS is also running back in Bristol. These projects will include 'Skyping' back to England in mentor time.

The students will also be visiting an Indian palace and Indian temples and they may even have an opportunity to see part of an Indian wedding ceremony.

The students will be 'tweeting' about their trip on Twitter. Follow their progress on: @rgsinter
