Young Chef Update...

Last month Harry, one of our Year 9 students, competed at St. Katherine’s School in the regional round of the Rotary Young Chef Competition against students from Bradley Stoke Community School, City of Bristol College, Gordano School and St.Katherine’s School.

The standard of the food prepared was judged by local professional chefs from our region. Harry produced a wonderful menu consisting of Aubergine Stack as a starter, Oven Baked Pollock with a Parmesan Crust and Homemade Tartar Sauce as the main course, and Meringue with Fresh Fruit for dessert. The food Harry cooked and presented was of an exceptionally high standard.

Harry missed out marginally on going through to the next round to a Further Education student at City of Bristol College. A huge well done to Harry for representing RGS so well and being such a good competitor.
