You can apply for free school meals if you receive one of the following:

Please note that if you wish to apply for free school meals for a child attending an academy, Redland Green is registered with Bristol City Council to use their service so you can still apply either online or in writing. 

Pupil Premium Cohort

The Government introduced ‘Pupil Premium’ funding to raise achievement in schools. It encompasses all students who are either In Care, in receipt of free school meals, Ever 6 FSM (those who have claimed free school meals in the past 6 years) or whose parents are actively serving in the Armed Forces. Financial support

Your child/children will be entitled to financial support for trips and visits and academic support as a result of being in one of the above categories. To claim financial support collect a Pupil Premium form from reception or download a form from RGS website. 


Additional Eligibility Criteria:

From April 2014, maintained schools, non-maintained special schools and general hospital schools will attract the Pupil Premium for children in Reception to Year 11:

The deadline for the collection of names for the 2015 spring census day is January 2014.
